Greer Mackebee is an Associate at Amis, Patel & Brewer, LLP. His practice focuses on the representation of developers, investors, utilities, contractors, and other market participants in project development, project finance, M&A, and corporate transactions in the renewable energy and sustainability sectors.
Mr. Mackebee has represented contractors, owners, sponsors, and developers in connection with the offtake, hedging, construction, balance of plant, build-own-transfer, supply and procurement, and operation and maintenance arrangements for wind and solar power projects. He has also represented pro bono clients in the acquisition, financing, and redevelopment of affordable housing projects in the District of Columbia.
Mr. Mackebee joined Amis, Patel & Brewer from Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, where he was a member of the firm's Energy and Infrastructure Group. He has published pieces on renewable energy development and the chemistry of coal combustion byproducts. He received his J.D. from Stanford Law School, an M.S. in Environment and Resources from Stanford University, and a B.S.E. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Duke University's Pratt School of Engineering.
