Corinne McCarthy is a Law Clerk of Amis, Patel & Brewer, LLP. Ms. McCarthy’s practice focuses primarily on the acquisition and sale, development and financing of renewable energy projects, many of which have involved tax equity investment structures.
Ms. McCarthy graduated from Emory University School of Law with honors and published a student note in the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal. While in law school, Ms. McCarthy was an extern for Southern Company within their Corporate Governance and AFT Legal Group and worked on securities and corporate governance matters.
Prior to law school, Ms. McCarthy worked for a national, environmental and engineering consulting firm that advised utility companies on various issues related to solar, battery storage, wind, and nuclear energy projects. Ms. McCarthy received her BA in environmental science from Franklin and Marshall College where she was named a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and graduated magna cum laude.
